Suspect/Counterfeit Items Awareness Training

The Suspect/Counterfeit Items Awareness Training manual provides information on individual components identified as suspect or counterfeit. The DOE Office of Environmental Protection, Sustainability Support & Corporate Safety Analysis has taken a corporate leadership role and is accountable for ensuring the effective implementation of the Department's S/CI process.

The manual discusses definitions, the DOE S/CI process, DOE Directives and Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP), and the DOE S/CI website. Appendices cover fasteners, components and product information, suspect indications list, suspect/counterfeit items (S/CI) found at DOE facilities, references, and resources.

For further information on the Suspect/Counterfeit and Defective Items site, please contact Sharon Brown.
