CAIRS Database Tools

The CAIRS Database Tools page provides the starting point for performing activities with CAIRS. From this page you can access the various CAIRS functions to perform searches of the CAIRS database and prepare logs and reports. The CAIRS Database Tools page contains six hyperlinks. The function of each hyperlink is defined below.

• Logs: This hyperlink goes to the CAIRS Logs page where you can create simple listings of injuries/illnesses, vehicle accidents, and property damage events reported to CAIRS. Some user documentation may be required to use this page.

• Basic Reports: This hyperlink goes to the CAIRS Basic Reports page. From this page you can create more complex reports of accident experience and baseline information. Some user documentation and reference material is required to use this page.

• Standard Reports: This hyperlink goes to the CAIRS Standard Reports page which provides you with easy access to static reports published by EH-51. No training is required to use this page.

• Search and Distribution: This hyperlink goes to the CAIRS Search and Distribution page. From this module, you can query individual accident report fields and then create distributions, lists, or user-defined reports. Both user documentation and reference material are required to use this page.

• User Tools: This hyperlink goes to the CAIRS User Tools page where you can change your password or update any of your personal information.

• Help: This hyperlink goes to the CAIRS Help Table of Contents page. User documentation and on-line help files are available from this page.

• cairs_support@hq.doe.gov: This is an e-mail hyperlink where you can send comments to DOE's Office of Information Management. You can also call the ES&H Helpline at (800) 473-4375.
