Injury and Illness Recordkeeping and Reporting Workshop


Course Description: In this workshop participants will review DOE occupational injury and illness recordkeeping and reporting requirements. Participants will learn the basic skills necessary to collect information and properly classify and report cases. The 8-hour session is intended for DOE and DOE contractor employees with current recordkeeping and reporting responsibilities. Completion of the course will satisfy the training requirement in DOE Order 231.1B, Environment, Safety and Health Reporting.

Course Objective: The aim of the workshop is to promote timely, accurate, and uniform recordkeeping and reporting practices throughout the DOE community. Through instructor led presentations, discussions and exercises participants are given an opportunity learn DOE recordkeeping and reporting requirements, resources for assistance, and networking opportunities.

Course Audience: Attendance is limited to DOE and DOE contractor employees with current recordkeeping and reporting responsibilities. (Cost = $0)
