Injury and Illness Dashboard Now Available
The Office of Health, Safety and Security recently announced the availability of the Injury and Illness Dashboard. Public access to the Dashboard is available from the Internet http://www.hss.doe.gov/sesa/analysis/cairs/cairs.html. DOE and DOE contractors who are registered users' of the Computerized Accident/Incident Reporting System (CAIRS) can access this information and additional features of the Dashboard by logging on to CAIRS. Through the secure connection, the initial release of the Dashboard allows CAIRS users' access to data that can be easily exported for reports or additional analysis. Managers and analysts will find that the flexibility designed in the tool offers users' the option to customize their views when additional information is required. The focus can include both incidence rates and numbers of cases for various injury characteristics, and can be adjusted within a selection of DOE organization groupings and timeframes. Additional data and features are planned for the Dashboard and will be phased-in over the next several months.
