Technical Standards Newsletters
The purpose of The Standards Forum is to provide timely and complete
information on the activities of the Technical Standards Program to DOE and
contractor personnel on a quarterly basis. Information provided includes
guidance on development and use of standards, information of potential interest
to DOE relating to standardization initiatives in the public and private sectors, and
lessons learned from the application of standards in DOE facilities, programs,
and projects.
Standards Actions is a monthly publication that provides the current
listing of new DOE technical standards projects initiated, projects sent for coordination, and
new documents recently published. This publication also includes information from major non-Government
standards bodies concerning the status of documents which may be relevant
to DOE operations. Standards Actions is a featured section in each edition of
The Standards Forum.
