The Office of Regulatory Liaison is the Department of Energy's (DOE) principal liaison with Federal
agencies that have oversight or regulatory jurisdiction over Departmental activities, including the
Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board (DNFSB), the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Institute for Nuclear Power Operations (INPO).
Outreach activities of the Office of Regulatory Liaison to the entire DOE complex include
sponsorship and maintenance of Nuclear Facilities Maintenance, Real Property Asset Management
and DOE Regulatory Structure.
