Commitment 4.3.2.1 in the Department of Energy's (DOE) Implementation Plan for
Board Recommendation 2002- 1, Quality Assurance for Safety Related Software, requires
the Department to establish a schedule to develop, revise, approve, and issue software
quality assurance directives. Periodically, the Department has provided you with the
status of directives being revised to include reference to the software quality assurance
requirements contained in DOE Order 414.1 C, Quality Assurance, and DOE Guide
414.14,
Safety Software Guide for Use with 10 C.F.R. 830 Subpart A,
Quality Assurance
Requirements, and DOE 0 41 4.1 C, Quality Assurance. The attached list provides the
current status and schedule for these directives revisions.
