This letter is to inform you that Commitment 227 of Revision 2 to the Implementation Plan for Stabilization and Storage of Nuclear Material for the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board Recommendation 2000-l (July 2002) has been completed.

Commitment 227 was to complete the dissolution of Mark-16/22 spent nuclear fuel at the Savannah River Site (SRS). The dissolution was completed in December 2003.
