This letter is to inform you that Commitment 2.8 of the Department of Energy’s Implementation Plan for Recommendation 200l-l, “High-Level Waste Management at the Savannah River Site” has been completed.

Commitment 2.8 was to complete the conceptual design for the Salt Waste Processing Facility (SWPF) at the Savannah River Site (SRS). The conceptual design report has been provided to your staff.
