The purpose of this letter is to notify you of the return of Savannah River (SR) High Level Waste Tank 50 to service as described in Commitment 3.4 of the Department’s approved Implementation Plan in response to Board Recommendation 2001-01. Tank 50 was successfully returned to service on June 3, 2003, following completion of a solids removal campaign.
