The Department of Energy has completed its revision and issuance of the Nuclear Air Cleaning Handbook (DOE-HDBK-1169-2003), a deliverable as part of the Department’s Implementation Plan in response to Board Recommendation 2000-2, Configuration Management, Vital Safety Systems. The Nuclear Air Cleaning Handbook is posted on the Department’s technical standards website at the following address: (http://tis.eh.doe.gov/techstds/standard/standfrm.html). This completes the Department’s actions to fulfill commitment 24 of the 2000-2 Implementation Plan.
