Extremity Dosimetry Accreditation

Many sites implement both whole body personnel dosimetry and extremity dosimetry programs.  At these sites, the infrastructure of the programs are essentially identical.  To ease the burden on both applicants and the performance testing laboratory, a decision was made that the future revision of DOE STD-1095-95, DOE Laboratory Accreditation Program for Personnel Dosimetry Systems, will  include aspects of both whole body personnel dosimetry and extremity dosimetry systems. While there will be separate applications, the performance testing will take place in parallel and there will be a single on-site assessment performed.
