Radiation Exposure Monitoring Systems (REMS) is
the database of occupational radiation exposures for all
monitored DOE employees, contractors, subcontractors and
members of the public. The Rule 10 CFR 835.702 requires annual
individual radiation exposure records to be recorded. DOE Order 231.1A
requires the reporting of monitoring results to the REMS Repository in
accordance with the specifications provided in DOE M 231.1-1A
(Chapter 3 and Appendix G). Please note that the Manaul 231.1-1A
approved 3-19-04 is currently in effect, but that an optional
reporting format is available for sites that have implemented the
Amendment to 10 CFR 835.
