(1) Any single occupational exposure that exceeds an expected exposure by 100 mrem.



INTERPRETATION
Issue:

Explain the intent of Criteria 4.A.ON(1) for a single occupational exposure that exceeds an expected exposure by 100 mrem.

Intent:

The intent is to report events where job planning for radiological controls significantly underestimates radiation exposure.

Additional Information:

Significantly underestimated radiation exposure can indicate problems with job planning, radiological controls, work execution, or all of the above.
