Security requirements provide for the medical assessment of employees to identify potential threats against the nuclear information, materials, and weapons over which DOE holds jurisdiction. When effectively integrated with the services of personnel security, counterintelligence, and other allied security professionals, medical services contribute directly to national security. In addition, workplace violence has increasingly been recognized as safety and security concern which warrants organizational planning and response. The following policy, guidance, and additional resources may apply.
