The Office of Operations Assets Management and Support
Services (MA-432), who is responsible for implementing
property control procedures at Headquarters, has made
some changes in the control of valuable accountable
government property at HQ.
These changes affect such areas as:
- Removal of DOE property (and some personally-owned
property),
- DOE HQ Property Passes,
- HQ Protective Force inspection of property passes,
- Authorizing Issuing Officers,
- Visitor Property Passes,
- Government-purchased moving boxes, and
- Examples and forms utilized in the protection
of government property.
