Mission:
The Headquarters (HQ) Security Officer (HSO)
Program was established by the Under Secretary
of Energy in 1990. Each Element is directed
to designate an HSO to serve as the point of
contact for security related matters within
their respective Elements. The HQ Security office program manager directs
the actions of the HSOs through implementation
of the HSO Program.
