Scope:
The Department of Energy (DOE) Deviations Program
is established by DOE Order to provide Headquarters
facilities with an appropriately validated variance,
waiver, or exception to DOE orders and/or Headquarters
security directives when adequately justified. Requests
for approval of deviations from DOE Orders or Headquarters
Facilities Master Security Plan requirements are reviewed
by the subject matter expert who will advise the Director
to concur or non-concur.
